Boycott Sorority Sisters

Sorority Sisters is HORRIBLE and needs to be removed off air. It seems that Mona Scott (pictured above) does everything she can to create a show to make black people look bad, especially black women. For her to be as old as she is, she should be well informed on Women Empowerment. There was a petition that went around a few months ago to get the show cancelled but it didn't work. The show aired tonight and I watched my first and last episode. People who have no idea of what a sorority is, or their purpose now have a horrible visual thanks to Mona. There were rivalries inside some of the Organizational members' OWN organization and towards other sororities. As a senior college student, that's NOT in a sorority let me inform you on what I see on my university's campus or other universities campus'. Members of these Greek lettered organizations are doing toy drives for the unfortunate, hosting events for our campus (that only require can goods for entry 95% of the time), and two of the sororities GET TOGETHER and host an annual talent show on our campus. Keep in mind that I said they do this together. Not only are the events fun but they also host events that are informative, such as spreading breast cancer awareness, sickle awareness, and participating in World Aid's Day programs. What was portrayed on VH1 tonight was not what I've witnessed, ever. Now, as far as women not getting along with members of the SAME organization!? That had to be scripted. If you've been in college, or know any women in a sorority they are ALWAYS together, and I actually believe always is an understatement. If they do have issues within each other, everyone doesn't know about it. Love and Hip Hop is bad as well BUT those people are individuals and they don't have a platform that's promoting positivity, this show should be cancelled. Don't watch it so they won't get the ratings. You won't be missing anything.
